Fun Facts & Stories of Henderson’s Past Salad Luncheon at Heritage Park

If you want to hear some stories and fun facts about Henderson from years past, check out this event. Henderson Heritage & Tourism will host a unique luncheon on Saturday, June 24, beginning at 11:30 AM called  “Fun Facts & Stories of Henderson’s Past.” 

“Over the years, while researching Henderson’s history and working on other historical projects, we’ve discovered some unique and often unknown facts about Henderson,” said Henderson Heritage & Tourism president Suzanne Ratzlaff. “We thought this event would be a fun way to share some of these nuggets and stories we’ve been collecting.”

Have you ever wondered if Henderson ever had a saloon? Come out to this salad luncheon and presentation by volunteers in the Agricultural Building and learn much more.  

Reservations are required before the event and tickets are $20/each. Please call Heritage Park at 402-723-5694, Suzanne Ratzlaff at 402-694-8669 or stop by the Visitor’s Center from Tuesday – Saturday, 1 – 4 PM, to sign up.  

The Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park is located 1 1/2 miles south of Henderson exit #342.
