Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. They don’t wear capes or special suits, and their badge of honor is the bandage that shows they gave the gift of life.  The community is invited to become a hometown hero and answer the call of patients in need by donating blood on Monday, May 22, from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Faith Evangelical Bible Church.

This year's 2024 Henderson Home Show was well attended and hopping with a wide range of exhibitors and visitors.

The Heartland FFA Silent Auction will be held Monday, March 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the school shop building.

The annual Band German Smorgasbord will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024. The meal will be served from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and a band concert will be held at 7:45 p.m.
