Lee & Jasna Polivka owners of LP HVAC in Henderson
It’s been a while since Henderson has had a local heating & air company in town, but that’s changed since Lee & Jasna Polivka began LP HVAC in July of 2022. What a plus for our community to have a family move to town and provide such a needed local service!
Jasna was working as a coder at Henderson Health Care Services, and Lee worked at Central Nebraska Refrigeration when they were living in York. They decided to move to Henderson in January 2021 with their three children when a house came up for sale they purchased. Their children are ages 13, 8, and 5, and attend Heartland Community School.
“I always had in the back of my mind that I wanted to go on my own after 13 years in the HVAC business. Jasna really pushed me to do it, and it just seemed like the perfect timing when a building to rent became available on Main Street,” said Lee.
Lee jumped into the business quickly, and today, at LP-HVAC, he provides a wide range of residential and commercial heating and air products and services. He services all brands of heating and air equipment and sells Airease products.
Another specialty for LP HVAC is servicing and selling commercial refrigeration equipment, such as walk-in coolers, ice-making equipment, and commercial cooking equipment. He sells ventilation systems for homes and recently began selling and installing residential water heaters.
LP HVAC provides a preventative maintenance service for residential and commercial customers with spring and fall checks on heating and air systems.
Lee and Jasna both agree it’s been a lot of fun but sometimes a roller coaster getting their business off the ground but they are excited about future expansion opportunities in Henderson.
