The Bearcats ended their season with a loss to Lincoln Lutheran on Friday night, but the team showed plenty of grit and never-give-up spirit.

They opened the first quarter with an exciting 73-yard pass from Landen Rojewski to Rylee Scheidemann and an extra-point kick from Aiden Bartek, giving the Bearcats their first score of the game. They struck again in the second quarter with a 2-yard run by Nevada Gloystein for the TD and another extra-point kick from Bartek. The Warriors put 17 points on the board in the second quarter and led at halftime, 24-14.

The third quarter was scoreless for both teams, but the Warriors scored a TD in the fourth quarter to extend their lead to 31 to win the game. The Bearcats end their season with a 1-8 record.

Coach Jones: “Tough loss tonight against a good team. We did a lot of good things, just not enough to get the win.”
