The Heartland Huskies traveled to Wymore on Saturday, September 23, for the Southern High School volleyball tournament competing against a few non-conference opponents. They were 1-2 for the day.
They lost to Falls City 2-0 (16-25, 20-25) and Thayer Central 2-0 (16-25, 17-25). The Huskies beat the host Southern 2-1 (25-18, 19-25, 25-19). Falls City won the tournament, also beating Thayer Central 2-1 and Southern 2-0.
The Huskies will be back in action this week, competing at the Hastings St. Cecilia tournament on Tuesday, September 26, and Thursday, September 28.
