Forty local cancer survivors and their guests gathered at the Girls’ Night Out Cancer Awareness Evening on October 25, 2015, at the Mennonite Brethren Church in Henderson. Barb Koester of York was the speaker and shared stories from her own battle with cancer. Everyone was treated to a meal and the survivors received gifts of a rose, a Christmas ornament and a geode, as well as items from Four Corners Health Department. Door prizes were donated by local businesses and individuals. This annual event is hosted by Henderson Health Care.
