It’s time to celebrate the completion of the Irrigation & Agriculture Building at the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park on Sunday, August 12, at 3:00 PM. The building houses a wide array of irrigation and agricultural related items, machinery, and a local history display of deep well irrigation.

The program will include a brief history of deep well irrigation by Randy Ratzlaff, and donors will be recognized that made the building possible. Afterwards, visitors will be encouraged to share any personal stories related to irrigation and farming.

The public is invited to come out and enjoy this celebration, and view the completed building and its displays. Coffee and cookies will be served afterwards, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs. The Irrigation & Agriculture building is located at the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park 1½ mile south of the Henderson I-80 Exit #342 on spur 93A. For more information, contact Suzanne Ratzlaff at 402-723-4252.
