There’s nothing like watching a house move! Take a look at this house moving in Henderson on Thursday.
It was moving day for this house, owned by Joel Heinrichs and Deb Wilhelm, on Thursday, August 20, in Henderson. Williams Midwest House Moving did their specialized work Thursday, slowly pulling the house to its new basement just north of its original foundation.

The house was built in 1978 by Joel & Deb’s grandparents, Gus and Katherine Heinrichs. After their grandparents passed away, Deb & Joel’s parents, Delbert and Inez Heinrichs, moved into the house on 11th Street in 2001. It’s been vacant since 2016, but it will soon be the home for the third generation of the Heinrich family. Deb’s daughter, Rhianna, will marry Peyton Ott next summer, and they plan to make it their first home together, Deb says.

The movers are pulling the house over and were about halfway there in this photo.

The house was successfully set on its new foundation and will be ready for some construction extending the garage out to the south, where the new driveway will be.
