The Bearcats traveled to Valley View Golf Course, hosted by Central City, for their opening scramble event on Thursday, August 20th. The tournament featured three divisions, with three girls on each team.
The Sutton and Exeter-Milligan-Friend teams each shot a first-place 71 (36-35). The Bearcat Division 1 team of Tara Buzek, Kinsley Friesen, and Meggan Friesen shot a 91 (46-45). In Division 2 Brinley Mierau was paired with Harper Pickrel from Fullerton because Emma Ott was out sick scoring a 128 (66-62). In Division 3, Violet Goertzen and Makaelyn Goertzen shot a 68 playing only nine holes.
