These wonderfully decorated pumpkins were spotted in front of the Henderson City Hall. Find out where they came from.

We found out the pumpkins were decorated as part of the Heartland “Huskie Time” groups. According to Heartland Elementary principal Dana Reinke, “Huskie Time” originated during the 2024-25 school year. “We meet monthly for thirty minutes in mixed groups of K-6 students. Our focus during this time is relationship building, mentorship, and fun!” said Reinke.

Here’s a list of the other types of activities the kids have been working on during “Huskie Time.”

“This is truly something that the students, staff, and I look forward to each month,” said Reinke.

Way to go for “Huskie Time!”
