The Henderson Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet on Friday, November 21, at the newly opened Gathering Room at the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park. The new venue was the perfect fit for about 60 who attended the banquet and was catered by the new owners of the Dutch Kitchen – Devin & Angela Wichman.
Chamber director Nicole Mierau welcomed everyone to the event and invited them to enjoy a delicious meal. After the meal, she recognized the following milestones for area businesses, which Vice President Zach Richert presented.

The Henderson Chamber’s “Friend of Henderson” award was presented to Judy Epp for all her work and service for the Henderson community.

Afterwards, a lively game of trivia from “The Askin Nebraskan” Jim Fields was enjoyed, with each table competing against each other. The last round was a custom-designed round featuring some Henderson history-related topics, which provided plenty of fun and discussion to end the evening. Thanks were given to the sponsors who helped make the banquet possible: Cornerstone Bank, York County Development Corporation, and Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park.
