Senior Mia Hiebner and Junior Tara Buzek both brought home medals at the EMF Golf Invite on Saturday!
It was hot and breezy on Saturday at the Friend Country Club, but that didn’t stop Senior Mia Hiebner from firing a winning score of 75 (40-35)! She was two strokes ahead of Julia Messere from Aurora, who shot a 77 for second place. Tara Buzek medaled, placing 12th, with a score of 103 (50-53). The team placed 6th overall with a 432—the other Bearcat team members, Meggan Friesen shot 125, Haley Beck 129, and Kinsley Friesen 130. Nine teams were competing at the invite: Aurora, Central City, Exeter-Miligan-Friend, Fullerton, H&H, BDS, Shelby-Rising City, Sutton, and Tri County.
