The H&H Bearcat volleyball team traveled to Overton on Saturday, coming home winless. They had a close three-set match against St. Patrick’s at North Platte but lost 1-2 (20-25, 22-25, 17-25). They faced off against the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes and lost 0-2 (17-25, 13-25), and also lost 0-2 against Hitchcock County (20-25, 10-25). Overton won the tournament, beating Central Valley for the championship.

The Bearcats will host a triangular against Wilbur-Clatonia and Sandy Creek at Hampton on Thursday, September 4, at 5, 6, and 7 p.m., with the JV and Varsity both playing. The Reserve team will also play at 5 p.m. against Sandy Creek at 5 p.m. at the Heartland Gym.
