Hampton Hawks Wins First Game of the Season Against Parkview Christian

The Hampton Hawks football team beat Parkview Christian 43-14 on Friday night for their opener.

The Hampton Hawks football team opened up its season at home on Friday night with a 43-14 win over the Parkview Christian Patriots. The Hawks got on the board in the first quarter when Landen Rojewski ran for 21 yards, but the extra point run failed. In the second quarter, Porter Dose completed a 52-yard pass to Landen Rojewski, but they couldn’t convert on the kick for the two points. (In six-man football, a kick is for 2 points and a run is 1 point.)

It was all Hawks in the third quarter, scoring three 3 TDs. Landen Hansen completed a 51-yard pass to Brayden Wolinski for the first TD, Mason Wiens had a 28-yard run for the second TD, and Kyler Rojewski ran for 16 yards for the third TD.

The Hawks will travel to meet the Harvard Cardinals next Friday, September 5th, at 7 p.m.
