Home School Heartland FFA Hosts “Harvest Hustle”

Heartland FFA Hosts “Harvest Hustle”

By Lisa Buller

While the air may be beginning to get chilly, and farmers have started to harvest in the fields, the fun has just begun for fall activities. Through the entire month of October, the FFA Chapter is hosting the first Heartland FFA Harvest Hustle. There will be the choice of a virtual run/walk 5k or 50 mile challenge, or a bike challenge that is a 10k or 100 miles done virtually. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the month and random drawings will be done. Registration is $15 for 18U and $30 for 19 and older. Challengers will receive a shirt and be eligible for prize drawings.
The money received from this event will go to help fund chapter activities throughout the year.
