It has been a privilege to serve you as mayor of Henderson, Nebraska. Henderson is a town I love and I call it “My Town.” My wish and my hope is that all the residents in Henderson have, or will have the same thoughts, that this is your town as well. I will work as hard as I can to make this happen.

We have had several large projects happening in the city to make Henderson as aggressive as we can possibly be. Only the high costs of doing so many projects keep us from doing more at this time. We have built a lighted double diamond ballpark. We have a complete new sewer system in our industrial park. We have just put in new concrete streets as we prioritize which blocks to do next. I greatly appreciate your concerns and patience as we work through these projects. All of these improvements are intended to make Henderson a better place to raise a family. We encourage more entrepreneurs to start businesses and create jobs that will sustain families. I urge everyone in the community as well as communities around us to support all the local businesses that we already have. Without any one of our current businesses, Henderson would be less of a “go to” place, and that is my concern. With that said, I thank each and every one of you for the support that you have given to the City of Henderson in the past and please do more shopping here in the future.

As your mayor, I will listen to all of your concerns good or bad. With the City Councils help we can make Henderson “Your Town.”

I would also like to thank and recognize the current Henderson City Council members; Jim Mestl, Scott Erb, Mike Wall, Lee Thiessen, and Clerk Connie Brown.
