Monday Night Music with the Cirrus Quartet

Mark your calendars for a special concert in Lincoln on Monday night, October 14, at 7:00 p.m.

Music will be provided by the Cirrus Quartet at the Antelope Park Church of the Brethren, 3645 Sumner, Lincoln.  All members of this quartet are grandchildren of Martha Friesen.

There is no admission and a reception follows in the Fellowship Hall. Maps are available on the church website at www.lincolnbrethren.org.

This quartet is part of Astraios, a network of chamber musicians working to connect audiences and performers.  Founded in 2007, the musicians come from across the country and have performed around the United States.  A radio interview with them will be broadcast the Friday before their concert on KUCV’s Friday at the Mill.  Watch local papers to see this event listed on their calendars.

Tell your friends, and bring them along!  The sanctuary has wonderful acoustics for this instrumental quartet combining the sounds of violin, viola, bassoon, and flute.

More information about Astraios is available at www.astraiosmusic.org.
