The NSBA 8th Grade All-State Band is the premier event for the top 8th grade band students in Nebraska.
Heartland student Megan Kroeker, daughter of Paul and Cara Kroeker, was chosen to be one of the eight flutists in the band selected from the entire state.
The conductor of the band will be Michael Sweeney, Director of Band Publications for the Hal Leonard Corporation. Â The 8th Grade All-State Band will take place on January 19, 2013, at the University of Nebraska Kearney.
