Don’t miss the official birthday party celebrating the 125th Anniversary of Henderson on Sunday, October 14, at Heartland Community Schools beginning at 3 p.m.  The celebration will start in the Heartland School Theater with the viewing of the Henderson Centennial video created by Burton Buller 25 years ago. This video includes footage from the Henderson Centennial as well as history about the community of Henderson.  Following the video, there will be time for individuals to share community stories, memories and jokes from the past. After the video and story time, a traditional Birthday Party will be held in the cafeteria when birthday cake will be served.  All of the 125th Anniversary memorabilia as well as copies of the Henderson Centennial video will be available for sale during the day as we celebrate the longevity of this community.
