Here is a recap of the November 2011 Bradshaw Beat Newsletter.

  • Help Wanted: The village board is looking for some one to clean in the community center. Hours vary with some months having more bookings, most often on weekend dates. Pay is competitive. Please contact Jim Gordan (402-366-0701) or the village office (402-736-4634) for more information if you think you can help.
  • Bradshaw United Methodist Church Soup Supper (Chili, Chicken Noodle Soup, Sandwiches, and Pie) is Tuesday November 8, 2011 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. (Freewill offering)
  • The public is invited…Bradshaw VFW Post 1450 and Auxiliary present: The Veterans’ Music Ministry of Monica Harvey, known as “Little Sis” and local gal, Morgan Tracy, in a program of patriotic and inspirational music. Sunday November 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bradshaw Community Center. Refreshments will follow.
  • A vote of Thanks to the Volunteers who gave up their Saturday afternoon to assist in making alterations and cleaning up the Bradshaw Plainfield Cemetery. Hats off to: Oscar & Sharon Eaton, Shirley Kliewer, Pastor Mary Scott, Steve & Kimm Klute, Howard Romsdal, Virginia Fay, Adam Kriefels, Tom Vaught, Steve Warren.   • Take care not to push leaves into the street. The street sweeper is not equipped to clear large amounts of leaves; it clogs up and works very inefficiently and will not clean up the residue it was designed to pick up.
  • Watch out for Trick or Treaters on Halloween this coming Monday evening. Help keep our children safe!
