The H&H Bearcats hosted a volleyball tournament in Hampton on Saturday, September 26. They had two very close matches, winning against East Butler 2-0 (25-22; 25-23) and losing to Lawrence-Nelson 2-1 (22-25,25-23,23-25).
Lincoln Christian was undefeated, beating High Plains 2-0, Red Cloud 2-1, and Thayer Central 2-0. In other matches, Thayer Central beat Mead and East Butler 2-0; High Plains beat East Butler 2-1; Red Cloud beat Mead 2-0; and Lawrence Nelson beat High Plains 2-1.
The Bearcats will be competing in the Hastings St. Cecilia tournament on Tuesday and Thursday this week. See the brackets below.
