This past week, the scheduled track resurfacing project began at Heartland Community School with Midwest Track doing the work.
The project should be completed with resurfacing, curing, and painting by mid-August, according to Superintendent Jeremy Klein.
“Community members should stay off the track and out of the track area until work is completely done. We’ll notify the community when the track is ready for use,” said Klein.
