York County Commissioner Andy Bowman was appointed in May 2024 to fill Stan Boehr’s vacancy after Boehr’s passing. Since taking office, he has served on the Blue Valley Community Action board, as a liaison to the Weed Superintendent, as one of the liaisons for the Roads Department, as the liaison to the Veterans office, and on the County Insurance and Handbook Committee and the County Safety Committee. He serves as the Vice Chair for the Board of Equalization.
He also sits on the board for the York County Historical Association and recently served a term on the York County 4-H board. He and his wife are fourth-generation farmers who live and farm northeast of Bradshaw along with their five children.
