Sophomore Landen Hansen Wins the Meet in an Exciting Four-Person Playoff
The Bearcats traveled to the David City Golf Club on Wednesday to compete against seven other schools: Archangels Catholic, Cedar Bluffs, David City, Cross County, Stanton, Wisner-Pilger, and Yutan.
“We had really windy conditions and tight fairways, which made for a challenging day. It was a great team effort!” said Coach Buzek. David City won the meet with 331 points, and H&H was second with 353.
Despite the conditions, the Bearcats came home with a second-place finish, and Landen Hansen won the meet after a four-person playoff after parring Hole #1. Second place went to Mitchell Larson (Stanton), 3rd place Xavier Boss (David City), and 4th place to Jesse Divis (David City).
