Sophomore Landen Rojewski battles for the ball against the Superior Wildcats on Saturday at the Heartland gym– HeartlandBeat photo
Both the H&H Bearcat girls and boys basketball teams came ready to play a makeup game against the Superior Wildcats on Saturday afternoon. It may have been pretty darn cold outside, but they were heating things up in the Heartland gym. The girls won 57-47 and the boys 60-51.

For the girls, it was all Sophie Minary who lit it up, scoring a sizzling 32 points. Her teammates were finding ways to get the ball to the 6’1″ sophomore, and she was putting it in the hoop, scoring 15 points in the first half. She had a few put-backs off of missed Bearcat free throws as well. This was the Bearcats second win of the season, 2- 14, against the 1-18 Wildcats.
