Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska Corn Board (NCB) is accepting applications for the Ethanol Infrastrucrture Grant Program. This initiative is designed to increase the availability of higher ethanol blends, including E15, E30, and E85 at fuel retail locations statewide. Retailers are invited to submit applications, which may award up to $50,000 per retail location for the installation of equipment supporting mid-to-high-level ethanol blends like E15, E30, and E85, in accordance with the guidelines provided in the application.
“As opportunities to increase corn demand expand, this is an ideal position to keep corn in state,” said Matt Sullivan, Nebraska Corn chairman of the market development committee and farmer from Superior, Neb. “We want there to be opportunity for Nebraskans to fuel up with Nebraska-grown ethanol anywhere they may be in the state, and this is one way. It supports farmers and communities alike.”

The Nebraska Corn Board is funded through a producer checkoff investment of a one-cent-per-bushel on all corn marketed in the state and is managed by nine farmer directors. The mission of the Nebraska Corn Board is to increase the value and sustainability of Nebraska corn through promotion, market development, and research.
