Check out what’s going on at this year’s Spirit of Christmas event in Henderson!
The Henderson Chamber will be hosting its annual Spirit of Christmas celebration on Tuesday, December 2, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Santa will be at City Hall listening to gift requests and handing out treats! This is a great time to get a picture; Henderson Health Care will have a photographer on hand.
At the Bethesda Mennonite Church, the youth are serving a fundraiser meal of pulled pork sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, a dessert, and a drink from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. or until they run out in the Fellowship Hall. Funds will go toward the youth service trip in the summer of 2026. They are also hosting Faith and Life Bookstore and other local vendors, including Balaban’s, and 10% of all sales will support the youth trip. If you or someone you know would like to be a vendor, contact the church office at 402-723-4562 or at bethesda@mainstaycomm.net.
The Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park will have its gift shop open at the General Store and selling peppernuts and frozen apple cider.
Each year, businesses open their doors and offer cookies or special treats to say thank you! It’s so festive and beautiful on Main Street. The lights, decorations, music, and people make for an enjoyable evening! Stop by and join the festivities!
