Celebrate with us! This event includes a very special rededication of the former Zion Lutheran Church of Thayer to kick off the day, with food, games, and family fun through the afternoon.
The gate opens at 9:30 am for the service, to begin at 10:30 am. All other events to follow! At 11:45 am- a catered meal in the barn by Coolers (free will donation), Pie judging, ice cream, Forest Moon Coffee Co. with coffees and smoothies, and live musical entertainment. Bohunk Baggers are leading a cornhole tournament to begin at 1pm. Birthday BINGO starts at 2 pm and an assortment of living history activities and games for the whole family throughout the afternoon! Enjoy concessions during the afternoon hours.
Our catered menu, served beginning at 11:45 am in the barn, buffet style- Carolina smoked chicken or chopped BBQ pork, mac ‘n cheese, cornbread, green beans, and desserts.
