Senior Mia Hiebner ready to putt at the Indianhead Golf Course on Thursday at the GICC Invite. She shot a low 78 for third place.
The H&H Bearcat girls’ golf team traveled to Grand Island on Thursday to play at Indianhead Golf Course for the CICC Invite. Mia Hiebner had a great day, placing third, firing a 78 (39-39). Tara Buzek shot a 107 (54-53) for 30th place, Haley Beck 124 (60-64) for 57th place, Meggan Friesen 133 (69-64) for 64th place, and Kinsley Friesen 135 (71-64) for 66th place. The team came in 8th overall with a total of 442. Minden captured both top two individual finishes, Kaylynn Jorgensen scoring a low 73 and Macy Jorgensen a 74. Minden won the team championship as well with a total of 346.
