Who Got Spotted on Heartlandbeat?

The Henderson Fire Department volunteers meet every Monday evening for their regular meeting, but this Monday included some specialized training. Heartlandbeat spotted Luke Haidle leading a training session outside, demonstrating how to conduct all kinds of rope rescues.

Henderson fire department volunteers watch as Luke Haidle (he’s bending over the ropes) trains volunteers in rope rescue techniques when they might need to extricate someone in a hard-to-reach area, such as a ravine, bins, construction sites, or any deep or high places.

This is just one example of all the time and effort our volunteer firemen and EMTs put in making sure they are ready for any emergency that arises in our community. Give a Big Thank You to our local Fire Department and EMT volunteers!
