The Bluestem Writer’s Workshop will feature award-winning and best-selling novelist Stephanie Grace Whitson, author of 30 books.Â Stephanie Grace Whitson began playing with imaginary friends (i.e., writing fiction) when an abandoned pioneer cemetery near the Whitsonâ€™s country home provided not only a hands-on history lesson for her four homeschooled children but also a topic of personal study. All writers from novice to advanced are welcome to participate in the Bluestem Writerâ€™s Workshop at the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park Saturday, June 25, 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.Â This is a place inspired one-day workshop where writers will discover their stories during directed writing and reading sessions held at the Immigrant House Museum, Country Mennonite Church, and Epp Barn.Â
A traditional Faspa Lunch will be served over the noon hour when Whitson will speak.Â She will also conduct one of the writing sessions during the workshop.Â An authorâ€™s book table will be available for book signing as well.Â Â Â Â Â
