After wins on Monday night, both of the Heartland basketball teams competed on Tuesday evening for the 2014 Holiday Tournament Championships. The girls fell short to Sterling losing 23-44 and finished second in the tournament. The boys, however, won 53-35 over Norfolk JV to finish as the tournament champions. The girls continue in their season with a 4-5 record, and the boys now hold an 7-1 record.
