Don’t miss this great day at the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park Saturday, September 13 from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. The wood stove will be fired up and serving fresh waffles on antique irons with cream sauce right away in the morning. New Year’s Cookies will be fried fresh all day along with all your favorite ethnic foods in the barn. Horse drawn wagon rides, country school, butter making, laundry day, cider making, and sewing demonstrations are just a few of the fun things for the whole family.

Enjoy the multiple string instruments of The Goertzen Band performing at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the Country Church. Cats Cradle Photography will be offering vintage photo shoots at the depot and local artist Vern Friesen will be doing sculpture demonstrations in the farmhouse. The apple press will be busy turning out fresh apple cider but apples are still needed. Please bring apples to the park on Friday.

Make it out to Heritage Day for a day of fun, food, and fellowship! For more information, contact LaVonne Thiessen at 402-723-4559.
