Kevin Postier president of Henderson State Bank presents its third $10,000 donation of a five year $50,000 pledge to Henderson Heritage & Tourism officers, Shannon Siebert, Adeline Huebert and LaVonne Thiessen.

Henderson State Bank’s recent $10,000 donation towards the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park has helped make finishing the park a reality.  “We appreciate Henderson State Bank’s continued support of the Heritage Park.  With this donation we will be making plans for the building of the railroad depot,” said Henderson Heritage president Shannon Siebert.

In 2010/11 Henderson Heritage & Tourism launched its first ever capital campaign to raise $250,000 to complete their five year plan for the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park.  This plan included the existing machine shed/shop building and nearly completed country Mennonite  church.  Next projects are the railroad depot, Mainstreet store fronts, entryway and parking lot improvements and establishment of a maintenance fund.
