The Huskie Girls started the game strong against the Osceola Bulldogs and carried the momentum through for a 33-28 win. The team had to step up their play with starter, Jennifer Yoder sitting out due to injury.  They came out and did just that, hitting shots and taking a big lead to end the first quarter, 16-6.  The Bulldogs tried to work their way back in it, but with the Huskie‘s defense and their shots falling, Osceola could not catch up.  Mikaelyn Dick was back in the swing of things hitting three 3-pointers and finishing the night with 15 points.

Under the boards, the girls worked hard to pull down second chance offensive rebounds and did a good job with the defensive boards too.  Free throws were a difference maker tonight as well.  Tori Bittinger hit a few big free throws late in the game, going 4 for 5 and ended the night with 8 points. Sara Brune went 3 for 4 from the line and finished with 7 points.

The team will not have much down time as they hit the road tomorrow night to play the Milford Eagles at Milford.
