The arrival of Spring in April brings on a bunch of baseball & softball activity at the Henderson ball fields! Monday evenings are busy out at the ball fields with the T-ball leagues already in action.
The Henderson Rec League has once again done a great job of organizing the summer ball programs in Henderson! It’s exciting to see the ballpark full of so many folks out cheering on the little ones learning the game.
All the coaches are on hand to patiently teach and encourage these first-time ballplayers, who sometimes get rewarded with a hit and a run to first base.
Thanks to the volunteers who keep the concession stand open to feed and hydrate the crowds.
The batting cage was busy with older boys practicing before their season starts in May.
