The annual HHCF Gala was well attended this year at the Holthus Convention Center on Saturday!
Henderson Health Care Foundation’s GROWTH Gala Raises $116K For HHC Rural Health Clinic
On the evening of March 7th, 300 attendees gathered at the Holthus Convention Center in York for the Henderson Health Care Foundation’s annual fundraiser; GROWTH Gala. With The Next Chapter in mind, decorations and centerpieces reflected literature and history giving a nod to the event’s theme. Lynn Hall served as Master of Ceremonies.
Guests enjoyed the opportunity to win $1000 cash with an entertaining coin flip game as well as a suspenseful chance to win a gold and diamond necklace, at “Bookmark and Bling.” This year’s silent auction featured 80 items thanks to many generous donors across the region. A gourmet dinner was served by Kerry’s Catering followed by an impressive assortment of desserts donated by local baking enthusiasts. Guests appreciated hearing a patient testimonial expressing gratitude for the funds raised at last year’s gala, which helped support the purchase of the new mammography machine, and for the opportunity to receive care close to home. Several nurses were also honored in the program, highlighting decades of service at HHC.
The night of fun and fellowship began with an entertaining live saxophone cocktail hour, followed by the live auction, led by Ross Ronne. By popular demand, The Downtown Collective entertained the crowd with three sets of singing, accompanied by a full band of ten professional musicians.
In total, $116,000 was raised to benefit Henderson Health Care’s new Rural Health Clinic.
HHCF Executive Director Carli Reiners said, “On behalf of the Henderson Health Care Foundation, we would like to extend our utmost thanks and appreciation to the generous sponsors, individual donors, volunteers, board members, and all who attended our fourth-annual GROWTH Gala. The funds raised truly do GROW our ability to continue patient-centered care close to home. The generosity of this region leaves a lasting impact for future generations. I hope that all who were involved can appreciate their part in this next chapter.”
