HENDERSON, NEB. – The Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) hosted its 2025 Annual Convention October 22-24, at the Embassy Suites Omaha-La Vista Hotel & Conference Center in La Vista.
More than 1,000 participants attended three days of networking, professional education, and sharing with peers and the industry’s leading experts. An awards banquet honoring excellence in personal and/or organizational accomplishments saw two outstanding team members of HHC recognized for their dedication, compassion, and commitment to patient care.
Meritorious Service Award – Beth Shively, PharmD, BCGP
The Meritorious Service Award recognized the long-term contributions of members to the Association and their individual hospitals. This award recognizes the longevity and breadth of service of an individual, not only to their facility, but to health care in the state.
As a dedicated pharmacist, Beth has spent the last nine years ensuring the patients of HHC receive the highest quality of care, while also supporting colleagues and advancing the profession through leadership and mentorship.
The Caring Kind Award – Tanner Steingard, DPT, PT, LAT, ATC, CSCS, BRM
The recipients of the prestigious Caring Kind Award go above and beyond the call of duty ot demonstrate compassion for patients and dedication to service excellence in their job responsibilities. Honorees are star performers through their sincere kindness to patients and dedicated teamwork, ensuring that care is safe, quality-driven, and cost-effective for consumers, as well as for the organizations they represent.
For five years, Tanner has made a lasting impact on patients’ recovery and well-being. His commitment to helping others reach their goals and regain independence embodies the very best of our rehabilitation team.
