The Bearcat junior high volleyball teams were both defeated at home at the Heartland gym against Shelby-Rising City on Tuesday. The A team lost 0-2 ( 14-25, 21-25) and the B team lost 0-2 (19-25, 2-25).
On Saturday, the Bearcats B & C teams hosted BDS at the Heartland gym. The B team was 1-2 (25-15, 16-25, 5-15). The C team was 1-2 (21-25, 26-24, 13-15).
They will be back in action on Monday, October 13, at 4 p.m. at the Lawrence-Nelson tournament.

The Bearcat Junior High football team was supposed to travel to Hebron to play Thayer-Central, but the game was postponed due to rain. They will play them on Monday, October 13, at 4:30 p.m. On Thursday, they went to Giltner and faced off against the Bulldogs, winning 74-28.
