Tailgate Party Saturday

After spending the morning at Heritage Park for Heritage Day, head over to the Henderson Downtown Park for the first ever Community Tailgate Party at 2 pm.  We will be watching Nebraska play Miami brought to you by Cobalt TV through Mainstay Communications. 

In addition to the game there will be a variety of concessions available.  Heartland Community Schools will be selling popcorn, Henderson FoodMart will be selling Chili Cheese Dogs, and the Henderson Chamber will be selling drinks, candy and nachos. 

For those who aren’t as interested in the game several vendors will be on hand including Tupperware sold by Bonnie Morrow and Scentsy sold by Megan Sweet, with both vendors having a drawing for prizes.    

For kids and families there will be several fun options such as games to play on your own, including Ladderball, Spring Fling, Bean Bag Toss, Frisbee Tic-Tac-Toe and Sidewalk Chalk.  There will also be games played for prizes and the Henderson Fire and Rescue Department will bring some trucks to the park for halftime.
