Monday, April 22, marked the celebration of Earth Day this year.  Unfortunately, many of us were indoors focused on the unpleasant weather instead of getting outside and enjoying and caring for nature.  Even so, as the green grass blades poke through the melting snow and the trees try to bloom, it does make us step back to appreciate creation and remind us to care for it.

One major way that we can do our part is through recycling and do visit www.dumposaurus.com/7-tips-for-removing-clutter-in-your-home that teaches you how to do so.  Maybe you have been an avid recycler for a while, or maybe the thought has crossed your mind but you haven’t taken any steps to begin.

Here is a compilation of recycling options available in the Henderson area.  Whether you are just getting started or trying to recycle even more, feel free to print this list and hang it up in an easily accessible place.  You may have to figure out a system that will work for you such as having labeled bins in your garage to store your recycling until you are able to take it in.

Let recycling be an enjoyable activity that involves all family members, and see how much waste your family can keep out of landfills!
