Heartland Community School Release
The Nebraska FBLA Fall Leadership Conference was held on September 22nd in Kearney at the UNK campus. The conference was a one-day workshop for FBLA officers and members. The Nebraska state officers shared the 2026-2027 state goals during the Opening General Session.
The keynote speaker was Patty Hendrickson, a Certified Speaking Professional. Her presentation focused on being a leader and how to train your younger members to become future leaders.
After the Opening General Session, the officers and members attended workshops presented by the FBLA state officers: Communicate with Confidence, Connections to Contributions, Making the Most of Your Membership, Lean In to Know What You Need to Succeed, and many more.
The following members attended the conference: Tara Buzek – President, Meggan Friesen – Vice President, Maddox Regier – Secretary, Kate Haidle – Treasurer, Ashleyn Friesen, and three additional members, Andi Stebbing, Brooks Burgess, and Isabelle Buller, as well as Karma Yantzie, Adviser.
