The lobby, waiting room, and check-in station at the new Rural Health Clinic are welcoming and spacious.
Henderson Health Care held an open house to showcase the new Rural Health Clinic to the public on Sunday, July 19, from 2 – 4 p.m. It’s stunning to say the least! The front lobby features large east-facing windows, making the space light and cheery. After more than a year of planning and construction, the 10,250 sq. ft. clinic is complete.
“Our new Rural Health Clinic was designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of our region both today and in the future. As our communities continue to grow, this facility positions us to expand services, recruit additional providers, and ensure that high-quality healthcare remains available locally,” said HHC CEO Cheryl Brown.
It is already up and running after transitioning from the old clinic to the new one on July 10 and opening the doors to patients on July 13. It provides expanded room for healthcare services. It’s designed with both patients and providers in mind, offering a modern, welcoming environment that enhances comfort, efficiency, and access to care. Patients will be greeted by a spacious waiting room that provides a comfortable setting from the moment they arrive.
The facility features 14 patient exam rooms, allowing providers to serve more patients while reducing wait times and improving the overall healthcare experience. Two dedicated procedure suites provide space for a variety of in-office treatments and services, helping patients receive the care they need without traveling long distances.
HHC staff were on hand to conduct tours and explain how efficient the new facility made the workflow for clinical teams. Refreshments were served for those attending in the spacious new waiting room.
The two-story entryway features a contemporary light fixture to greet patients as they enter the clinic. Henderson Health Care Foundation Director Carli Reiners and HHCS PA Josh Reiners served delicious cookies and water in the waiting room.

These computerized nurse stations are conveniently located adjacent to each provider’s office at the clinic, enabling more efficient use of space.
There are eight provider offices for all the Doctors and Physician Assistants who work at the clinic.
The facility has a nice-sized break room for the staff with plenty of seating and kitchen space.
The office on the left is for the clinic operations manager. There is a patient consultation room and ample parking near the front entrance.
