It was a doozy last night as storms caused flooding of the walkpath at Lakeview Park – HeartlandBeat photo
Heavy thunderstorms roared through Henderson during the night with lightning, hail and up to 3″ of rain. The storm kept coming in waves, causing flooding at Lakeview Park and Galaway Creek at the golf course.

Here’s a look at the flooding at the east end of Lakeview Park.

This is Hole #4 at Galaway Creek Golf Course, with the water coming right up to the edge of the green.

This lone Heron found a spot on the lake to do some morning fishing.

Here’s some hail damage to a finch feeder at HeartlandBeat headquarters, and our unofficial rain gauge showing 3″ of rain.
Check out thisX video of the flooding. Below the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Park flooded on the north side.
