The H&H Bearcat boys took a beating from the Tri County Trojans on Friday night, losing 75-44 for their last game of the season before subdistricts on Monday. The Bearcats got the early lead in the game behind an opening 3-pointer by Maddox Regier and were ahead 9-4 with help from Wyatt Dose and Jagger Regier, but it was short-lived. The Trojans answered back with a few three-pointers to take the lead 14-9 at the end of the first quarter.
Going into halftime, the Bearcats were down 37-22. In the third quarter, the Bearcats went cold offensively and had several turnovers, allowing the Trojans to take over the game.
The Bearcats end their regular season with a 7-14 record, and the Trojans are 19-5. The Bearcats will begin subdistrict play on Monday at Alma against Thayer Central at 6 p.m.
