Our lone Great Blue Heron has returned to Lakeview Park. We spotted him last June, and here he is back again. (I guess we aren’t really sure about it being the same one?) This year, he can often be found roosting atop the pivot just south of the lake. He’s pretty skittish, so it’s hard to get a pic of him hanging around the edge of the lake. He seems to enjoy the view from the pivot before going to the lake to feed.
