After many weeks of practice on the streets of Henderson, the Heartland High School band marched in the annual Yorkfest Parade on Saturday, September 6th. They came home with the 1st Place trophy for Class C! Congratulations on such a great job!
Here’s what Mark Hiebner, Heartland’s band director, had to say about this year’s band:
“I have been pleased with the attention to detail and the accountability of the group so far. The group is getting better each and every day. I’m excited for upcoming events/parades with the band!”
The Heartland band will be marching in the annual Harvest of Harmony Parade in Grand Island on Saturday, October 4th.
