The Bearcats faced a blustery day on Tuesday, April 7, for the Sandy Creek Track Invite with 10 schools competing. The girls placed 9th, and the boys placed 4th overall. Top finishes for the girls were Hallie Tessman, 2nd in the pole vault; Maddie Janzen, 3rd in the 3200 M Run; and the 1600 M Relay, 3rd.
For the boys, Waylon Tessman brought home the gold, placing first in the pole vault (11-4). The 3200 Relay team placed second and third-place finishes included Brooks Burgess in the 800, 1600 Relay, Holden Switzer & Maddox Regier in the high jump, and Trenton Goertzen in the 1600 M Run.
