The Henderson Aquatic Center is ready to go for the 2025 summer season! The official opening was supposed to be on Tuesday, but the weather has not been cooperating. “The weather looks better for Thursday so we plan on opening tomorrow,” said Manager Angie Bergen. Angie Bergen and Anne Regier will be returning once again as co-managers for the Aquatic Center.
“We have 20 lifeguards working at the Aquatic Center this summer, with lots of returning guards as well as a few new ones. There are 18 of our guards who are WSI certified to teach lessons,” said Bergen. For the first week, the pool will close at 5:30 p.m., and adult swim will also begin in another week.
Group swimming lessons will be held June 16-27, and there are still openings available by calling the pool (402-723-4680), messaging on their Facebook page, or stopping by. Private Lessons are available by appointment through the summer as well.
Adult Swim times will be held every day, except weekends, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Regular pool hours are from 1 to 8 PM daily. As always, a wide variety of concessions are available for purchase at the bathhouse.
