Plans are being made for the 11th annual Henderson Health Care Foundation Spring Fling. This is a fundraiser for the Henderson Health Care Services, with the proceeds this year going toward new Chemistry analyzer machines for the lab. These machines are used to read the results of many different blood tests that are vital to the proper diagnosis and treatment of patients, and are used multiple times every day. The current machine was purchased as a refurbished unit, estimating it to be about 20 years old, so it has exceeded its useful life. The new machines are much more efficient in speed and performance. The cost of these machines is approximately $60,000.

The event is set for Saturday, February 18th at the Henderson Mennonite Brethren Church Family Center (1201 11th street) in Henderson. Doors open at 5:15 for an auction preview, selling of raffle tickets, punch and appetizers. The four-course meal begins at 6:00 pm, followed by entertainment provided by the Sutton High School speech team. An Auction will be held with Ross Ronne serving as auctioneer. A new feature this year will be the addition of a Hawaiian Luau theme. Come dressed in your formal wear, your Hawaiian casual, or anything in between, the dress code for the evening is up to you.

Tickets are on sale now in Henderson at the Henderson State Bank, Cornerstone Bank, Henderson Health Care Services Clinic, The Headquarters Hair & Tanning Salon and in Sutton at the Cornerstone Bank, Astra Bank, and the Henderson Health Care Services Clinic.
